Admission Junior College
For admission to the First Year, Junior College candidates must have cleared Certificate Examination of Maharashtra State Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or any other equivalent examination. The candidates of other States will have to produce, "Eligibility Certificate" issued by Maharashtra State Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
The prescribed application form must be submitted immediately after the declaration of Secondary School Certificate Examination result along with the true copies of the mark sheet of the qualifying examination and the documents mentioned in General Rule 2(6) to 2(11). Some seats will be filled through spot admission.
For admission to the Second Year, Junior College the prescribed application form must be submitted along with the true copies of the qualifying examination and the documents mentioned in General Rule 2(6) to 2(11) immediately after declaration of the First Year Junior College result, within the date prescribed by the Director of the Institute.
The candidates must make careful selection of optional subjects at the time of admission to First Year Junior College. The subjects once offered at First Year Junior College will not be changed under any circumstances. Similarly there will be no change in the batch, once allotted at the beginning of the session.
Admission - Undergraduate Courses

The table below shows the qualifying examinations for admission to undergraduate classes -
Maharashtra State Boards, Higher Secondary Certificate Examination
The students who have qualified any other examination recognized equivalent by Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education Board are eligible to apply for admission to Degree College.
The students eligible to derive benefits of A.T.K.T. in accordance with the University Rules can apply for admission to the higher classes.
All the seats in B.A.I will be filled strictly on merit and in accordance with government rules.
For admission to the higher class the prescribed application form must be submitted along with the true copies of the qualifying examination mark sheet and the documents mentioned in General Rule 2(6) to 2(11) immediately after declaration of the result of the qualifying exam.
In normal circumstances, the students of colleges situated at Nagpur and Kamptee will not be admitted in B.A.II and B.A.III classes.
The candidates must be careful while selecting their optional subjects at the time of admission to B.A.I class. The subjects once offered cannot change under any circumstances. Similarly there will be no change in the batch, once allotted at the beginning of the session.
The student of other university seeking admission in the Institute will have to obtain "Eligibility Certificate" from Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaja Nagpur University, Nagpur.
The category wise reservation for the seats in First Year Junior College, B.A.I and M.A.I is as under:

Note: The above reservation will in accordance with the government rules in force from time to time.
Regarding admission, the decision of the director shall remain final.
Admission to Post Graduate Courses
Application made for admission to Post Graduation in one subject will not be considered for any other subject. It is compulsory to submit separate application for every subject.
The application made must have true copies of the mark sheets of B.A.I, B.A.II, and B.A.III attached.
In normal circumstances a candidate who has already completed M.A. in one subject will not be allowed admission in any other subject.
The candidates who have completed their B.A. degree with Economics/Home-Economics as one of the subjects will be given preference over the candidates with B.Com., B.Sc.(Agriculture), B.A.(Rural Services),B.Sc.(Home Economics), etc. qualification, for admission to M.A.(Economics)/(Home-Economics) courses.
The candidate, who has cleared M.A.I from any other Institute in Nagpur and seeking admission in M.A.II, will have to produce no objection certificate, issued by Head of the Department/Principal of the earlier institute.
Any student of M.A.I, failing or remaining absent in the examination, will not be eligible to obtain admission in the same or any other subject.
A candidate who has already completed M.A. in one of the subjects, obtaining admission in another subject, will not be eligible to receive any kind of concession and has to pay full fees.
